inches/360 Calculator

The imperial answer to cm/360: how many inches of mouse travel equals one full turn. Same underlying formula, framed for US players.

inches/360 is just cm/360 ÷ 2.54. It's handy for measuring against a physical mousepad: most pads are 15–20" wide, and a comfortable setup keeps a 180° turn within roughly half your pad.

How it works

inches/360 = (360 ÷ (yaw × sens)) ÷ DPI

Same math as cm/360 with the inch conversion folded in on the DPI side.

Example

Valorant 0.45 @ 800 DPI: (360 ÷ (0.07 × 0.45)) ÷ 800 ≈ 14.3 in. On an 18" pad, that leaves comfortable room for 180° turns. Note: enter your Sens before DPI.

The math behind it

inches/360 = 360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity) ÷ DPI

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a typical inches/360?

Most competitive setups fall between about 8 and 19 in/360 (roughly 20–48 cm). Fast games skew toward the low end.

Do I need a huge mousepad?

Only if your sensitivity is very low. If your in/360 is near or past your pad width, raise DPI or sensitivity and re-check your eDPI target.
